**The Lighthaus** was a platform for coaching, mentoring, readings, and other events – supported by a coalition of various coaches.

In 2022, the team approached me with the goal of developing a digital solution for **transparent appointment availability** . Until then, clients could only see if a coach was available in the near future during the booking process – a barrier that often led to booking cancellations.

To solve this problem, a **web application based on Next.js** was developed at the end of 2022. It automatically calculates the **next available time slots**, by matching the coaches' calendar entries with their individually maintained working hours.

**Overview of features:**

-   **Automatic appointment calculation:** Dynamic display of available times based on calendar data and time slots
-   **Input mask for coaches:** Availability can be flexibly managed via an internal form
-   **Improved booking transparency:** Users can see in advance when appointments are free – this builds trust and increases conversion

The application facilitates planning on the side of the coaches and significantly improves the user experience of the platform.
