[**House of U**](https://www.house-of-u.com/de) is a light-filled room for creative development, inner clarity, and conscious connection – in the heart of Frankfurt. Friederike Kleinert and Lisa Bährens have primarily operated the project through social media and needed a **website**, that authentically presents the space and offers inquiry options.

House of U rents the space for workshops, shoots, podcasts, and online courses – either pure or in combination with creative services such as art direction, concept development, and visual implementation.

## Requirements for the website

-   **Image-driven design** – the space should be brought to the forefront through high-quality photography
-   **Multilingualism** (German and English)
-   **Clear, minimalist layout** that reflects the essence of the offering
-   **Inquiry function** for bookings and inquiries

As part of an iterative design process with Friederike and Lisa, a simple, elegant concept developed that focuses entirely on the space photography and atmosphere.

## Technical implementation

For the implementation, **Astro** was used as the frontend framework to ensure creative freedom and high performance.**Payload CMS** offers individual content management and allows Friederike and Lisa to independently maintain and update new content, images, and descriptions.

The website was developed in Q3 2025 and has been live since December 2025. It is multilingual (German and English) and can be viewed at [www.house-of-u.com](https://www.house-of-u.com/de).
