Butchery Click & Collect Order Website

The butchery Fleischerei Martin , a traditional family business from Trier, faced the challenge of providing a simple and efficient online ordering option for their meat products during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In close collaboration, a custom Click & Collect ordering platform, was developed that includes the following core features:

• Product view with images: Customers can view meat and sausage products online with images and flexibly order by weight or quantity
• User-friendly backend: Staff at the butchery can independently manage products via an intuitive admin interface
• Email notification: Orders are automatically transmitted via email to the sales area - for a quick and paperless processing
• Mobile-optimized frontend: The web app was primarily designed for use on smartphones and allows for uncomplicated ordering on the go

With this solution, customers could order online during the pandemic and pick up their goods on-site the next day - efficiently, contactlessly, and customer-friendly.

The platform was developed in late 2020 with the web framework Django . The planning and conception were carried out in collaboration with Nils Lauterbach .
