Elementary School Website

The Elementary School Quint in Trier is a recognized model school for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). It teaches children forward-thinking, a sense of global connections, and promotes responsible action – with the aim of preserving a healthy and conducive environment for future generations.

In 2021, the school faced the challenge that the existing website was technically outdated and not optimized for mobile devices. At the initiative of the school leadership, I was commissioned to design a new, modern, and responsive website that meets the standards of contemporary digital communication.

The new website can be accessed at grundschule-quint.de and offers:

• 16 content pages with structured information about school profile, concepts, and ESD focuses
• Current notices about dates, events, and school developments
• Mobile optimization for optimal display on smartphones and tablets

The implementation took place in the summer of 2021 using WordPress and the Page Builder Elementor. Since its launch in July 2021, the website has served as the central digital contact point for the school and is regularly updated with new content.
