Software system for creating technical building inspections

As part of my bachelor's thesis I developed a specially tailored iPad and web application for the engineering company TRAGWERK based in Trier aimed at the renovation process. The goal was to make technical building inventories efficiently, systematically, and digitally recordable – especially in the context of creating individual renovation roadmaps (iSFP).
The application was published in 2025 and has since been used in practice and continuously further developed.
Functionality of the first version:
- User management with role-based access control
- Client and project management
- Digital inventory forms with support for Apple Pencil
- Collection of client requirements through dynamic forms
The complete written elaboration of the thesis is publicly available in the OPUS of the University of Trier as a PDF document.
Extensions after project completion:
- Multi-client capability for use by partner companies
- Photo documentation for each form with image captions
- Document management within individual projects
- Lead management for collecting and managing prospects
The application today represents a central digital interface between field service and project processing, optimized for use on the iPad for the field service and in the browser for the project workers in the office.
